Everything You Need to Know

How long does it take to get an estimate?

Estimates can take about 2 hours when we are not busy. However, they can take up to 24 hours when we are busy. You can help with providing the best information about your vehicle you have when requesting an Estimate. Please include information like Make, Year and Model, Engine Size, and what your main concerns are. This will help us with understand how we can best serve you and make your estimate more accurate. 

If we must send a mechanic to your location you will have an estimate prior to our mechanic leaving.

Are repairs under warranty?

The ONLY warranties are the ones that come with the parts we use on your vehicle. This provides you with better protection in the long run. However, if a part fails because of improper installation by our mechanics, and that has been proven by a third party we will refund the cost of the part and will refund 1/2 the cost of labor to the client.

Cancelations

Should you need to cancel your appointment with Smokey's we do understand. However you will need to cancel at least 2 hours ahead of your appointment if our mechanic is coming to you or 1 hour ahead if you are bringing us your vehicle. If you don not cancel within those time frames you will still be charged $95.00 for service fee. 

Bad Checks or Insufficient Funds

There will be a fee of $36.00 for all checks returned NFS. This will be added to the Cost of service and a new invoice will be issued. That invoice will be due at the time the client receives it. No Checks will be accepted at that point from the client then or in the future. 

If a Card payment is declined the client will have the option to pay with cash. There will not be an added charge to a declined card.

Help with Payment

Smokey's Diesel and Auto Repair has several ways to assist clients who may need help affording the work on their vehicles. Here are three of the most popular ways and how to use them.

1. In House Financing - Smokey's is blessed to have the ability to work with our clients through payment programs that will be financed through the business. Clients will sit with the office manager and create a payment plan that will allow for both parties to be happy. It will be required that at least 1/2 of the total cost be able to be put down at the time of service.

2. Third Party Financing - In certain situations we are able to use a third party partner to help with financing the cost of our client repairs. To qualify for this program you must be Self Employed, have at least $3000.00 per month in Revenue, have been in business at least 6 months and be able to connect your personal or business bank account via plaid. If Funding is approved clients will have payment to the third party partner each week for a determined time frame. Clients can be approved for up to $5000.00 in funding.

3. Balance Due At Completion - If your vehicle will need to be with us for an extended period of time you may choose this options. Clients will have to pay 1/2 of total invoice when Smokey's takes possession of the vehicle and then the balance remaining will be due at the time of completion or when the client picks up the vehicle. If at this time the client still need some assistance in paying for service options 1 and/or 2 will be presented.
